“ I came here before my flight out of Burbank. Tucked away from street view so it was a little hard to find. The outdoor patio is spacious so you can really enjoy it with a big group and/or your dogs! Solo female diner friendly. While I waited for my meal, I was served some mini cornbread- very yummy. The eggs Benedict didn't have much hollandaise sauce , but the eggs were perfectly done. I would recommend this place for breakfast or brunch- very fun vibe ”

“ Great vibe! Charlie and Friends brought made me smile immediately upon entering. CLEAN restaurant, upbeat staff that truly looked happy to work here along with great music at the right volume. Just the uplift I needed after 5 days evacuated to a nearby hotel due to the fires. The menu was filled with so many tempting choices! My breakfast burrito with bacon was delicious and presented on a cute, rustic heart shaped board. 2 thumbs up for the complimentary welcome cornbread mini muffins and free cookie as parting gift. I'll be back for more when I return to this part of the city. ”
“ We came here while visiting California. We were on our way to Universal Studios and wanted to grab a bite before. This lovely gem was close tomorrow hotel. We walked in and were seated. We chose to sit inside but most people were outside. I totally forgot to snap a pic of my food but I got a breakfast scramble, hubs had an omelet, the teenager had a breakfast burrito and the toddler had sausage and fruit because they're a toddler and that's what they wanted that day. Lol all of our food was delicious. Their lemonade was homemade and tasted great. It was a nice start to our busy day. If your in the area, stop in and have a bite. ”
“ Dog friendly, very kind staff, quiet ambiance, and decent breakfast food. This place is sort of tucked away in a little nook, a little difficult to find if you're not paying attention. Visited for breakfast on a Saturday and had the buttermilk pancakes with cheesy eggs and bacon. They give you more pancakes than I expected, and they're soft and fluffy while still being thin. The bacon was just how I like it - a little tender and very greasy. And they added the right amount of cheddar per my request to the eggs. A nice area to catch up with people given the quieter atmosphere, definitely recommended for a nice low key gathering. ”
“ I stumbled across this hidden jam and didn't really get a chance to explore the menu other than coffee. The outside ceiling was great even though they also offered indoor sitting as well. The staff was nice and friendly! The location is perfect with plenty of parking. Looking forward to going back and trying their food. ”
“ This is a VERY charming place to grab a bite to eat or meet a friend at for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in Burbank's northern Hillside area. The service was friendly and attentive which is pleasant especially when you're getting ready for the day. This place starts you off right! The ambiance is a simple family diner style with simple tables and chairs located inside and outside. Decor is relaxed and homey with a bit of cottage design here and there. Very easy on the eyes. The food is good here! I have yet to find anything that isn't. Even the simple breakfast style is right on the money (which is affordable!). 5 Stars for mostly the service, treats, and atmosphere making a pleasant dining experience. The food is diner food style so we're not winning any awards here but the presentation and expected flavors are creative and eye catching. If you haven't ventured up to Burbank's nice Hillside area above Woodsbury University, you should try this place. I'd recommend meeting a friend here or bring the family for a morning breakfast or lunch. It's a pretty easy recommendations amongst the locals up here. ;) ”
“ Always a fun time enjoying Charlie and friends. Nestled in the northern area of Burbank right next to Woodbury University, this gem stands alone as one of the best brunch spots. Each staff member has always been so considerate, patient, and ready to make your experience 100%. Always a great meal and has a lovely patio to enjoy your bites. Dog friendly and ultimately a 10/10. Do yourself a favor and hit it up! ”
“ This is the best breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in the area! The service is impeccable. All the waiters are so nice! Eric was very patient with us and super sweet. We were sitting outside on the beautiful patio. The food not only looks fantastic, it came out fast and was so flavorful! Before we even ordered we got complimentary cornbread with honey and after our lunch, we got free cookies. What a treat! I ordered the Happy Burger lettuce-wrapped and loved it! The fries are perfection! Absolutely recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to be back. ”
